As we empower clients to customise their rugs to their preferences, we do not hold stock and operate solely on a made-to-order basis. Delivery times typically range from 14 to 18 weeks, though lead times may be extended for larger or more complex designs. Once a deposit has been paid and production has started, the rug is non-refundable and non-returnable unless a defect is found in the final product.

Inspired by the decorative glass of interior doors within a busy Art Deco building, Fluted Light is a textile interpretation of intense activity observed beyond. Fragmented and filtered, the pattern of the glass creates a rhythmic abstraction that is almost hypnotic.
Simulating this distortion of light as it passes through the fluted glass, the effect is translated into a layered, linear pattern that creates depth and motion shifting subtly when viewed from various vantage points. Both structured and visually soft, Fluted Light appears fluid and aesthetically
harmonious, with no hard edges. Its rhythm and repetition combine with differing pile heights to provide a rich foundation to, and unification of, a simple scheme.
Created from Northwest 35’s signature, sustainably sourced materials, wool lends the design depth, structure and calm; in contrast, silk provides controlled light reflection, echoing that of fluted glass.
Customisable in terms of size, shape, and colour palette, and designed for hand-knotting, Fluted Light can also be hand-tufted in wool and silk, or wool and Tencel™, for projects with tighter lead times.
